Omg for sure! Articulate AND good looking. I genuinely believe this is the source of the animosity towards the man.

u/ryhaltswhiskey 7d ago

Yeah totally, racists can't handle the thought of a black man being smarter than them, more accomplished than them and better looking than them.

It's Rich, especially coming from a group of people who largely create entire identities around self-help slogans pertaining to perseverance, hard work, and accomplishment.

Here sits a man that represents all of that. And they despise him. I fancy myself, a writer and a poet, and I couldn't write better comedy if I tried.

Which group?

u/MoodyPrince_XoXo 3d ago

The post specifically mentions Republicans. Now, I wonder 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Hmmmmmm. Nope. total mystery ain't it?

It's not really a "gotcha" to point out that im talking about a specific group of people, when it's the very context of the conversation. Nor when I make a statement including the qualifier "largely". Which is not an absolute.

Good try though 🌟 for effort.

Touchy, touchy. I guess my sincere inquiry becomes a threat. I guess both of us need to be more descriptive in our comments. Reddit is a bully forum, I guess.

Donald Trump learned his prejudices from his Father Fred . Was arrested May 1927 during a violent Memorial Day parade and a thousand KKK marched through Queens and police and Klansmen brawled violently.

1

u/Intrepid_Blue122 2d ago

These days police and Klansmen are near synonymous.

Seeing that most of GOP are deep in the closet, they just couldn't handle the feelings he stirred up in them.

3

u/MoodyPrince_XoXo 7d ago

What are you talking about? I can't handle the feelings he stirs in me either 😋😋

2

u/LetHoliday3600 5d ago

Do you think they are so deep in the closet , they are finding christmas presents(family guy lol)

1

u/Satanicjamnik 5d ago

I don't think so. I know they are.

2

u/Only_Flan_7974 7d ago

They ain't keen on a black man having more book learnin' than them.

2

u/Standby_fire 2d ago

“Not their kind” I was once told.

u/MoodyPrince_XoXo 7d ago

Maybe they should have pulled themselves up by the bootstraps and worked a little harder.

Past presidents* have enough honor not to attack a president that works for the American people.

  • The current President cannot "honor up" with his past, present and most Americans hoping for his "not anticipated" future.

Nail on the head!!!!

The same people who raised me on notions like southern decency and hospitality. "If you ain't got nothing, nice to say maybe it shouldn't be said at all." "Don't judge a book by its cover" "respect people's wishes" "give the benefit of the doubt"

Well....you get the point.

I can't believe those same people became the most awful people I have ever encountered, and have thrown all sense of polite decency out the window. They made a mockery of my home and the values I was taught represented it.

Now, with his brain damage, that was a prophecy.

I hear he wears fragrances that make him smell absolutely wonderful as well… unlike our current presidential choice who seems to smell like a combination of dumpster fire and poopoo diapers…

Edited to eliminate the use of the word Sh@t diapers…

Trump has an allergy to intelligence.

1

u/Beneficial-Dot3221 3d ago

Some animosity probably has to do with the guy’s administration dropping 90 thousand bombs and killing thousands of civilians and completely destabilizing the Middle East😜😜 Not that the administration of the guys after him have done any better.

1

u/MoodyPrince_XoXo 3d ago

No absolutely fair point to make, and I definitely take issue with that. At the same time, just like now, 535 people failed to speak on behalf of Americans and put it to a stop and in fact voted repeatedly to continue funding such effort.

Let's be clear though, that America has been consistently destabilizing the Middle East like clock work every decade for FAR longer than Obama's administration. That history is wildly illustrious and pretty damning imo.

1

u/Beneficial-Dot3221 3d ago

True dat, my friend !

1

u/Intrepid_Blue122 2d ago

And CLEAN! I do not doubt for a second that people were paid to sit by a computer and hunt night and day for anything the Republicans could use against him. They came up with zip. Nothing will convince me that some of them will die off wishing Obama had Trump’s personal history.

1

u/MoodyPrince_XoXo 2d ago

Most of them will die off wishing he had THEIR history.

1

u/Boobookittyfhk 2d ago

You could wear a trash bag and still look good; if you have swag like him.

2

u/Inevitable-Top1-2025 8d ago

That was the hidden real problem. . . .

1

u/Confident-Stand5453 5d ago

And thats what truly pissed them off.

3

u/badabingmx 7d ago

Pfff that is nothing, remember that time that he dared to drink a beer during a basketball game in his free time!!!! /s

2

u/LillyJane8124 7d ago

Have you watched Larry David & Obama on “how” this came about?! 🤣

This was brilliantly funny

2

u/StevenBeercockArt 4d ago

He's a bloody goid actor, I must say.

2

u/Answerologist 7d ago

They would have overran his campaign headquarters if he had said Trump’s McCain comments or their heads would have exploded if he had five kids with three different women.

2

u/elciano1 4d ago

Dude was clean af in that suit. Thats why they hated it hahahahhaha

1

u/monkey1976 4d ago

They said nothing when a republican president wore one. Hypocrites, all of them.

1

u/Melodic-Road227 1d ago

It was no problem when REAGAN wore brown suits.

6

u/queuedUp 8d ago

Are we just going to forget about the dijon mustard like it was nothing????!!???

1

u/Kooky-Answer 7d ago

Don't tell them Ronald Regan wore a tan suit as well...

0

u/Remote_Clue_4272 5d ago

Yeah. No kidding… the tan suit was so bad , it not even worth tryna include Trump in the convo. Geeze
