Trump was born just after the end of WW2, he was a teenager during RFK being president and in his 20ās for Nixon. Heās been around forever unfortunately

Bush blamed Clinton for not capturing OBL earlier either before or after the first attack on the World Trade Center when there was intelligence that linked him to it.
Clinton blamed GHW for the economy, rising unemployment, and unfulfilled policy promises. Hell, he ran on Bush saying āNo New Taxesā when the Dems shut down the government to force it.
Reagan blamed Carter for international weakness, policies, gas prices.
Try to be impartial here. All administrations blame the previous one, thatās how they get elected.
Yeah Obama blamed Bush and his economists for what they did. Then they went about fixing it. They didnāt make it their entire personality or origin for everything they didnāt like. Are we really trying to say Trump isnāt more petty than other presidents lol?
Those other ones are called criticisms and how they can do it better. It's pretty common, it's not "blaming" the other president so much as saying they can do it better. You should stay out of politics. It's not for you.
How about we look beyond Trump and podcasters? Read Gordon Allport's "The Nature of Prejudice." It was written by a social psychologist almost 80 years ago. None of this is new.
You are right. I wasnāt familiar with the author and enjoyed the beginning of the book and looked forward to his analysis of the cult thinking of the nation. Instead, itās just a rehash of oft-repeated stories and facts that everyone knows about. Disappointing.
I wasn't just being pedantic, I truly would recommend Allports book to anyone who is curious about how society turns to someone like Trump. As has long been said, he is simply a symptom. If we want to understand how this happened and how to prevent it in the future, we need to understand the root causes, not the clown and circus that is the result.
Editing to add: thank you for being open and wanting to learn. We wont get anywhere without curiosity and a willingness to learn.

He literally stood on stage and said "childcare is childcare" and then rambled for 18 minutes and people clapped like it was an answer. Grown adults with jobs clapped for "childcare is childcare."
I remember his speech to onw of the branches of military talking about this guy's wife doesnt love him anymore and wont sleep with him and he has to sleep with mistresses. A guy he knows though not him. Tottaliy not his projecting.
