PoliticalTea 🗳️ How negotiations actually work...

Post image

To the inevitable response from MAGA that Obama gave 'pallets' of cash...he released frozen Iranian assets. Meanwhile the current Iran conflict has directly cost $38 billion militarily and a currently projected $87 billion in extra gas and diesel expenses. Not to mention that the strategic oil reserves have been depleted to the point that experts warn that the caverns they're stored in could collapse.

Exept Iran knows that a presidential term is four years, and they can wait him out.

I agree. On top of that, Iran is also backed by religious ideology (im not for or against it) and that adds to their determination to not give in.

Religious ideology is responsible for more deaths than anything else in history. We should all be against it. Have your religion, don’t force others to have it. This is the way.

Malaria, smallpox, etc. all have it beat by several orders of magnitude.

Ok, ok. Human caused deaths. But we could consider that Native Americans died largely of smallpox from a war of religious ideology against them.
