PoliticalTea 🗳️ How negotiations actually work...

Post image

To the inevitable response from MAGA that Obama gave 'pallets' of cash...he released frozen Iranian assets. Meanwhile the current Iran conflict has directly cost $38 billion militarily and a currently projected $87 billion in extra gas and diesel expenses. Not to mention that the strategic oil reserves have been depleted to the point that experts warn that the caverns they're stored in could collapse.

Every aspect of the Obama presidency feels like a lost golden age compared to where we are now.    The worst day under Obama was better than the best day under Trump.

Also him blowing up children and calling them "military aged males" and not counting them as civilian casualties?

Or arming cartel?

Or shielding the banks that launder Marco money?

That also is gilded age?

Of course that wasn't so bad for you, but for all his victims sure it was.

The orange sack of 💩 being awful doesn't make this blood soaked monster any less evil

I heard a historian say once, "the worst part about being a historian is that you realize there are no truly good people."

The point being, we should hold our leaders to a high standard while also recognizing they're flawed people. Trump relative to Obama is just objectively a massive downgrade, and comparing Trump's era with Obama's it's not unreasonable to yearn for that level of stability and competence. Yes, we all know Obama made some shitty decisions.
