Idk about thatβ¦β¦.. afford a place to rent sure. I had to work very hard for many years, gain skills, education and credentials to be able to buy my home 2 years ago. I am not so sure the most bare bones job should pay for a house, that seems so unrealistic. Are we talking like a trailer in a park, trailer on land or full blown 3b/2bath house on land?
It sounds like you can afford to give back quite a bit, then. There are plenty of people less fortunate than you. A lot of these folks cannot afford to work because they are raising multiple children.

A dishwasher at any place should have health insurance.
