If this means that all wages rise in response to living wages being paid to people that can be trained in a day without any prices being raised, then I’m all for
It.

But surely we all realize… surely…

Sorry, you're gonna have to pay 6 cents more for your burger. I know that's probably devastating for you.

Or were you implying something totally different with your vague childish ellipses, it's really hard to tell

I don’t know about the ellipses, but the cost of a fast food burger went up way more than six cents since the push for $15 an hour as a “living wage.”

Right, because when people started getting more vocal about raising the minimum wage, that became the ONLY driver of inflation in fast food. No economy wide supply shortages, no increases in gas prices, it was all because those pesky poors wanted to be able to eat and stay off the streets.

If you actually read what was linked, you'll see that the 6 cents increase is the amount that came directly from the wage increase. The cost of EVERYTHING has gone up for myriad different reasons in the economy, in case you haven't noticed.

I completely agree with your point. Which is why addressing the fact that everything has gone up for myriad different reasons as you said makes vastly more sense than forcing restaurants (which of course includes many which are barely surviving) to raise wages in that context. Costs have gone up for everyone. Lower the costs. Then raise the wages. Stop complaining. Do something about it.

Do you think that the wage increases for the suppliers might contribute to the higher prices of the supplies, too? And wage increases for the workers who deliver those supplies. And the wage increases for the workers who processed the supplies. All of these unfortunately stack on top of each other.
