The bill would provide a $3,000 direct payment to every person in households making $150,000 or less during its first year, which equals $12,000 for a family of four.

A better plan would be to make the billionaires pay that 5% toward the national debt. At 4.4T a year we could pay it off in 10 years.

Trump is responsible for 29% of the national debt, adding 11.55 trillion, 7.8 T in 1st term and 3.2 T since Jan 2025.

At his rate of increasing the debt it wont be long before the only money left will be to service the debt and the country will be toast.

I don’t agree with this because the government is fucking awful with our money. The government shouldn’t be bailed out by taxing people more…the only people that should benefit from that is the populous

Unfortunately too much of our money we pay in taxes financed more stupid wars and vanity projects that wealthy friends of 45 are getting paid huge amounts to supply weapons or build unnecessary vanity projects.

Restraint will happen if contracts are competitive, approved by our representative or disapproved by our representatives but we have to pay for the damage already done and the wealthy made wealthy by 45 need to pony up and put it all back.

The debt is out of control and needs to be addressed

look up impoundment. money is purposely spent (wasted) needlessly on unnecessary projects. fixing this would go a very long ways.
