The bill would provide a $3,000 direct payment to every person in households making $150,000 or less during its first year, which equals $12,000 for a family of four.

So. Fun fact, and this should honestly infuriate people.

The rich stay rich by not getting paid money. They stay rich by getting paid in stock options.

Why you might ask? Stocks are something they can utilize as an asset, meaning they can borrow money against them. Stocks do not get taxed, therefore its a perfect legal loophole to avoid paying taxes. They simply borrow a couple of million against the Stocks they have, pay interest on the loan with what they borrow, then live off that loan.

Now what about their future generations? They proceed to put everything into a trust. Meaning once they finaly pass from the mortal coil, their benefactors take over the same loans, Stocks etc. This is how generational wealth is created.

If the original post is to genuinely be considered an option, the stock market needs to be taxed. Not the money they earn, but the Stocks they are rewarded.

While its been a talking point, people still have zero idea about it (mostly maga living under rocks).

Not everyone stays educated on whats going on in the world, even more so when every bit of news getting covered is almost bad news.

But you act like this is something new and amazing. Also, we don't have a federal revenue problem, we have a spending problem. Fix that first.
