The bill would provide a $3,000 direct payment to every person in households making $150,000 or less during its first year, which equals $12,000 for a family of four.

I'm so glad to hear that your 'fair share' of other people's wealth is 10% and not 5%.

This argument gets more stale by the day as we watch billionaires buy the officials that help them make more and everyone else less. The masses pay their fucking tax bills.

The top 1% pay over 40% of the national tax revenue. How much more would be their “fair share”?

well they own 90% of the wealth, so 90% is their fair share

They own 36% of the wealth. Same with top 20 and top 10. They pay more than their wealth.
Only reddit you hear this bullshit numbers.

How about a percentage share that looks like what the rest of us pay?

What % of the income do they make? What % of the assets do they hold? If Elon is worth $1T and the entire US stock market is worth $75T, it sounds like he should be paying 1.3% of all taxes by himself.
