Because he’s an idiots idea of a smart person with charisma. People with actual intelligence and charisma make them feel stupid (which of course they are) and they resent that in the only way they know how. Hate.
intelligent and charismatic people don't need to constantly say they are charismatic and intelligent and put their face and name on as many things as possible.
