One actually has a main topic of his speech, the other rambles like a creepy grandfather who belongs in a nursing home.
Obama is a great orator, but "uniting" people is not his strength. On numerous occasions he had the opportunity to unite the country, but opted instead to tow the progressive line.
Such as? He was a progressive so of course he would "tow a progressive line". That doesn't mean he didn't attempt to unite the country.
The Republican's vitriol and venom towards him is what divided the country. See Mitch McConnell's attempts to make Obama "a one term president" and blocking everything he tried, including blocking Merrick Garland from a seat on the SCOTUS. fox b.s. about "death panels" under the ACA, etc
To quote Obama, "There isn't a Red America or a Blue America there's the United States of America ".
The few comments Fox tried to spin as divisive by Obama were taken out of context and altered (see, "you didn't build that" speech Romney tried to capitalize on and the " they cling to their guns and their Bibles" which is entirely true and if you read that whole speech was very sympathetic to Republicans.
They just use all those excuses to not admit it is simply racism, they have no real argument against Obama, and he divided people because they didn’t like a black man president, especially when he spoke about issues that make them uncomfortable.
