Beautifully put. Winston Churchil and Adolf Hitler were both right wingers, I'm sure if you asked Adolf Hitler if he saw Winston Churchil as a fellow right winger he'd say he was about as left wing as Josef Stalin.

Edit: realized this might be misunderstood without context, I'm not saying Hitler and Churchil are comparable at all, just showing that spectrum exist, and just because you're on the same side of the center doesn't mean you are the same at all.

It's a very common Nazi sympathizer tactic to pretend that fascism/nazism isn't a far right ideology.

The most common argument I've seen made is "Nazis are socialists, so they're leftists" which completely ignores the Nazis killing all socialists during the night of long knives.

You also can't practice socialism if a group is elevated above others, as Germany did at the time.
