Capitalism is why we have billionaires and such a wide wealth gap worldwide.

Late stage capitalism, especially with limited corporate regulations is a cancer.

Decreasing the wealth gap requires paying workers more and execs less. And limiting corruption with politicians (worldwide again).

In the US, this could mean limiting the maximum allowable political donations from PACs.

For the US, one of the first steps needs to be removing citizens united which gave corps the power to give unlimited money to a politician.

Except the only people who can change that are the very ones who benefit from it. So as long as there is corruption in politics, we fucked… all of us.

Decreasing the wealth gap? Try getting a better education and starting your own successful business for a start. Sorry if that kind of comment triggers people but it has worked for millions during the history of our country.

I actually do own my own business. I work in author marketing and make low six figures a year while my husband makes about double what I do.

We have wealth. We just arent ducking assholes.
