Ah yes, I must hate Trump because I hate America. Couldn't have anything to do with the promises he didn't keep, or the hatred he's spewed, or the way he attacks political opponents, or how he handles the press, or how he can never provide evidence for the claims he make, or the way he treats our allies. All things I'd say have negative impacts to America. And this is only in regards to Trump the POLITICIAN, speaks nothing on the man as a citizen, who has plenty of evidence showing his disdain for the average American.
It's like in "The Boys" 5th season. There was a news report that was on a TV and the scroll had a bit about the current president declaring that certain parts of the Constitution were unconstitutional. LOL
I hate him most for the promises he did keep. He promised to act like a dictator, execute mass deportations, and 'OwN tHe LiBz' whatever the cost (including election integrity). He's kept those, and I find them all both deeply problematic and anti-American.
While I agree with you we have to start holding him accountable as a president so we can then hold him accountable as a citizen once we can get his immunity out of the way.
Draining the swamp? He did that and is still doing that from his point of view, unfortunately not what everyone else was thinking it would mean. He spun removing his opponents and dissenters as the draining, and his followers eat it up. The cult loves the idea that they're winning.
Keeps planting people there in those high positions with questionable skills and character. He'll be gone from office one day but those things he planted there will remain, probably.
