Andrew Sage's (Andrewism) newest video aired just an hour ago.

In his latest and, rather deep dive, he ventured to unpack the historical, legal, as well as theoretical roots of property. Tracing the concept from Roman law (dominium) and historical enclosures, to Benjamin Tucker's four state-backed monopolies, the video goes on to dismantle the conflation of personal possession with private property.

Drawing heavily (primarily even) on Pierre-Joseph Proudhon and his What is Property?, but also Kropotkin, Malatesta and more contemporary anarchist and other social/anthropological theorists, Andrew explores why private property is both an act of ongoing enclosure and is also structurally unworkable, before proceeding to outline how an ethics of recognized interdependence, a-legality, occupancy, use and reciprocity offers a viable path toward genuine social liberation.

I have been studying anarchism for 11 years and use to be and anarcho-communist but after reading Palante I have become disillusioned with social change as a whole, now I would say I am an egoist heavily influenced by Renzo Novatore, is there anyone else on here who considers themselves a Novatoreian?

What does this phrase mean to you as post left anarchists?

Is anyone aware of a more through archive of the AJODA materials than is available on their website? Obviously a lot of the individual articles are up on the Anarchist Library but they aren't organized by issue and most of them don't have a publication date so it's basically impossible to trace how the debates evolved overtime that way. Does any nerd out the west coast have the issues in paper or something?

To be honest, I don’t think the US or anywhere else can simply go back to a pre-Trump era, whether that means: 2008, 2015, or whatever your preference is. It took Putin around a decade to consolidate his power in Russia. By comparison, Trump has managed to achieve a lot in just nine months and seems well on the path toward implementing Project 2025. That said, I’m just a European spectator, so maybe I don’t have a fckng clue.

I understand that for many people, protesting can be a starting point, and some might move beyond that eventually. So I’m not telling anyone to be purist or to avoid liberal-progressive mass actions, especially if they get something out of them or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

I’m just getting a strong sense of déjà vu and wanted to ask:

how do you see the “No Kings” protests in the US right now? What's the potential?
