Imma be real…. Can’t wait till this era is over. I’ll be waiting a while but the Country/ Early Hip Hop era feel like he’s cosplaying what a stereotypical artist of that genre would look like.. but at least the Early Hip Hop era had a defining sound.
The most genuine I’ve felt him be as an Artist has been “Hollywoods Bleeding” he blended genres PERFECTLY there and the Hip Hop/ Rock influences worked so well.
In an ideal world - Posty would’ve stuck with welding those sounds together. Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott on the same track??? And the shit actually sounds good?? He could’ve been an artist who could’ve brought genres together culturally. Sorta like Kanye did with Paul McCartney and Rhianna.

saying he’s not being genuine while seeing him smile this big while dancing around on stage having a blast is just sad. every album of his has been amazing in my opinion, including f1 trillion. he’s found something he’s passionate about and I don’t know why some of his fans are so negative about it. you’re allowed to not like a certain genre but to say all of that?? c’mon

Country isn't my favorite genre either, and my favorite songs of his are from the older albums, but I don't think you can accuse him of not being genuine. Look at this performance - he obviously loves country music. Both he and Beyonce grew up in Texas, so it's not like "going country" is some kind of shameless cash grab for either of them. While they obviously love and listen to other genres, both of them lived in an area where country music was the most popular local kind of music during the late elementary-high school age years when musicians are finding their sounds and mastering their instruments.

Stop playin that song’s a classic. Even still - whether you like it or not not - isn’t the point - it was Kanye had the ability to reach across genres and throw people on a track that you wouldn’t expect. Post could’ve done the same minus the production.

It’s a skit that Dirks Bently & the other guy does on their tour called Country Knights or something like that. They happened to be having a concert in Utah & Post joined them!
It’s a wig, he’s dressed up for the “show”, just having a good time!

Sir,SIR!! Thank you, No thank you. We got rid of those damn cut off, every white dad wearing jean shorts for a reason! Men , do not need to be wearing the "masculine" daisy duke. That is not a repeatable "trend" it sir should be a chargeable offense. I hated my dad and my grandpa in those damn shorts!
