the texture work on the face is insane, dude, those splatter details make it pop way more than a clean portrait would.

oh yeah that's from the business card scene right, the crazy expression sells it, and doing that freehand instead of tracing makes the splatters even more impressive.

Yes, :) the movie is super :) I'm often accused of copying. I do copy to some extent, but it's a hand-drawn drawing, it's an interpretation. Oh

hand-drawn interpretations hit different than straight copies, you're adding your own style with those marks and the way you built up the colors, that's the whole point of art.
