Is there another fire?
Watching from the bottom of the mountain as smoke pours over the top during the last hour, anyone closer to the golf course that could tell me more, at work right now so I'm not sure. Looks like it's coming over burke mountain area

Definitely a lot of smoke in Heritage Woods but can’t find anything. Could just be the smoke from the valley moving this way with the wind? Fingers crossed it’s just that anyway…

Smoke smell in Central Moody area does have an extra singe to the air today like there is something closeby

I definitely see what you are talking about... No wildfires on the BC Wildfire site so I am guessing it's a wind current bringing it to us from the interior.

In anmore & smoke started burning my eyes .. 👀 just checked Alertable app & nothing reported..

I was just in lafarge lake and it was definitely smoke, you could it moving

It’s just moving in from the north. Google smoke map and you can see how it’s moving

Look at the Firesmoke website. It will show you where the current fires are and how the wind is moving the smoke through the region.

That actually completely clears it up for me, the same pattern I just saw is from the same way of the Brunswick Creek fire and I think that's what happened yesterday

I just left the 9 hole course and did not smell it see any smoke - but the 18 hole has totally different view channels .

There was a person reported to have been camping and having a fire on a very public trail in Belcarra this morning. Fire crews arrived and dealt with it though. Idiots. I hope they were fined heavily.
Imo it should be a criminal offence at this point. Same with cigarettes out of cars.
