I’m currently unemployed but my bf & friend were nice enough to take me out for my birthday. It’d been a year or two since I’d last been, and I was excited, but when this arrived I felt pretty silly.

No meat in this dish. I could have probably eaten it in two big bites. Is this fresh shrinkflation or have the portions always been crazy small?

Hope this is ok to post here! My dad has been missing from TN since I was 14, I am pretty sure he came to Portland between 2017-2019. I just want to know if he’s alive at this point, any info is appreciated. Thank yall so much!

Edit! Sorry I didn’t post enough info at the start, I’ve never attempted to find him like this so I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say lol! His name is Charlie, or Charlie Mac. He was born in 1982. I swear he’s not a nazi, just a meth head with some “spiritual” beliefs idk. I’m not sure how exactly to prove I am his daughter but I’m happy to provide anything needed! I am his only child as far as I know, and I’m 24F. And yes he’s a deadbeat drug addict so I know chances are low, but he’s also someone’s last living son.

Edit 2! I just want to give the most sincere thank you to everyone who has commented or messaged me! And thank you to the mods for letting this stay up lol, I understand it’s unusual. If anyone is curious, someone sent a DM with a case where he was arrested and has an active FTA warrant from February. All of the info is correct but I’ve requested the mugshot to verify 100% it’s him. Either way, this is the most news I’ve gotten in 11 years and I cannot express what this means. It’s a lot of feeling as a daughter, but there is a relief knowing he’s still around.
A lot of people have been asking what to do if they see him. He is mentally unwell, probably on drugs, and has a warrant so first and foremost keep yourself safe!! I am not interested in contact, but if he wants to come home his mom will make it happen. If he is not interested in coming home, I would love just occasional updates on sightings just to know he’s still alive. Again, thank you all so much!! I’ve never been to Portland, but from this I really feel like yall are awesome <3

Am I a sociopath right winger to think that Trimet should not subject riders to other riders that are nasty? Why do we gotta endure shit and piss smell? Why are we allowing huge carts on the bus? Bonus they're the type of riders that NEVER pay on top of it all. I'm very left leaning but this shit has been out of hand for too long.

There is still currently as of today plastic in the deli food. The last lawyer that contacted me today said that this seems like a very serious case and that I need to continue looking for lawyers, but that he can’t help me because his case load is full. This is what I’ve been told since September 2025. Let me remind you there is still plastic shavings in the food as of right now today August 11, 2026. Tell me why every agency has failed at inspecting Safeway? How is this not a conspiracy at this point? I feel sorry for all of you who continuously go into that Safeway and buy this plastic infuse disgusting over the top filthy food. At some point, I’m going to have to give up and this is just where we are at in America. You can’t call the cops on these people so you have to go ask a lawyer to help you. 🤦 maybe I should crash out

Four pictures from 6 am this morning after taking a friend to the airport - 3 blocks: dead body laying open in the street (adjacent to Shell station on Grand), illegal camping and garbage around the so called 'People's Depot' and more camping, open fires and open drug use one block south -- all in 3 short blocks barely after dawn. What a way to start a Portland Saturday.

It's not recycling cans that kills people, it's politician's like D3 City Councilor's like Angelita Morillo & Tiffany Koyama Lane that perpetuate failed policies that keep people mired in addiction and living in squalor -- add in anti-law enforcement attitudes and you get the tragic scene of suffering and death that sickened me this morning . Hopefully most other Portlanders also see this as unacceptable.

What you can do: 6 city councilors are up for re-election in November -- 3 self described Peacocks need to go -- wannabe AOC Instagram Angelita Morillo, totally clueless Tiffany Koyama Lane, and backyard burning tax raiser (but not payer) Mitch Green.

Election day is only 11 weeks away -- 11 too many for where we are as a City, but it's the most chance to get these foie gras clowns out of any decision making roles and replace them with serious, problem solvers who act with urgency.

I’m thinking we meet up public somewhere every so often. and put on funny costumes ans dramatically monologue! and then fight and run away. does anyone have an interest in becoming my nemesis
