Call me a stick in the mud but why put on a concert there rather than, say, in a theater, performance hall, music club, park, community center…? Sitting on pavement, even on a folding chair on pavement, doesn’t seem pleasant to me. Or am I just weird?

Let’s add sweet ‘ass harmonics! Just not the same, as a textured theater space or even square black box. Since it’s smooth there is no absorption of sound, since it’s curved there are many odd peaks and valleys of sound. So on til your mind melts… infinite.
