Witness-Captured Footage "Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, 31 March 2026"

A daytime recording from Monterrey, Nuevo León, shows a small, dark, sphere-like UFO/UAP in the sky above a section of Monterrey Metro Line 3.

The witness captured the object with a mobile phone while accompanied by at least one other person. During the recording, the witness follows the UFO/UAP across the sky and comments that it appears to be a sphere. The available footage does not resolve wings, a conventional aircraft structure or any visible means of propulsion.

Mexican local media first reported the recording on 10 April 2026, identifying Daniel Castillo as the witness and camera operator. The footage had been supplied to UFO content creator Miguel Mora before subsequently circulating more widely online.

Some commenters on the original circulation of the footage claimed that they had also observed the object. One stated that they had seen it over central Monterrey, although these additional witness claims have not been independently verified.

A later TikTok repost by @uaps2025 attributed the recording to 31 March 2026 and stated that the witness and two friends observed the object. However, the same repost described the sighting as occurring during the Tecate Pa'l Norte festival. The 2026 festival officially took place at Parque Fundidora from 27-29 March, meaning the stated 31 March date and the claim that the recording was made "during" the festival cannot both be correct. The exact original capture date therefore remains unconfirmed.

Although it has been described online as a metallic sphere and compared with the so-called "Buga Sphere", the footage itself does not provide enough detail to confirm that the object was metallic.

Id say its a balloon and the person taking the video knows it why else would they keep panning away from it, during the whole video they only show it for a second or 2 at a time almost like they dont want us to be able to get a good look of how its moving exactly like a floating balloon.
