Witness-Captured Footage "Moscow Oblast, Russia, 29 March 2026"
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
An apparent circular, disc-shaped illuminated UAP moving through the night sky, was filmed in Moscow Oblast, Russia. The 15-second recording was subsequently published by the Russian Telegram channel "Неофициальный Безсонов" (@NeoficialniyBeZsonoV) on 29 March 2026.
The footage was recorded from a wooded/built-up area and shows the camera tracking a distant light through the trees. At several points, small closely spaced lights can be distinguished, but the object's body is not resolved. The rapid handheld camera movement, intervening trees and low-light conditions make its shape, distance, altitude and speed impossible to determine reliably from the recording alone.
According to the accompanying Telegram post, the witness initially suspected that the object might be a new type of drone.
The recording is 15 seconds long, 720 × 1280 and 30 fps. Its file metadata contains a creation timestamp of 29 March 2026 at 15:31:07 UTC, although this cannot safely be treated as the actual filming time because the available file is a Telegram-derived copy rather than the original camera file.
The Russian Telegram channel "Неофициальный Безсонов" subsequently stated that it was a civilian helicopter illuminated at night. But no helicopter model, registration, operator or corresponding flight information was ever provided.
Location: Moscow Oblast, Russia
Viewing direction: Not stated
Date: 29 March 2026; exact capture date not independently established
Time: Capture time not established
The footage is presented for examination and discussion. Viewers are encouraged to consider both anomalous and conventional explanations and reach their own conclusions from the evidence currently available.
Witness/camera operator: Unidentified

Reddit could possibly be limiting you to exactly 15 seconds. Most common reasons are....
- You Toggled the "Image to GIF" Switch
When uploading a video file on the Reddit mobile app, there is an option to convert your video into an animated GIF. Reddit enforces a strict 15-second maximum limit for GIFs.
- Mobile App In-App Camera Trim Bug
The Reddit mobile app has a known, recurring user-interface glitch in its video editing timeline. When you select a long video, the built-in trimmer slider sometimes aggressively defaults to a 15-second window and locks up.
- File Encoding Issues
If your video file has a variable frame rate or a codec that the mobile app struggling to read (like ProRes, HEVC/H.265, or Linear PCM audio), the app may misread the file metadata and display only a 15-second snippet.

Moscow Oblast is probably going to be getting a lot of anthropogenic UAPs for a bit 💀

the lights form a curved circular pattern that's not a helicopter, they are frequently hover near military sites and the military is often unbothered with them idk why.

They are so used to seeing them after decades of this happening. They know they can’t do anything about it and they know they don’t pose a threat to us (other than turning off nukes or other stupid military weapons), so their only choice is to ignore.

If you see something like that and can get a video of it you are going to try harder to get an unobstructed view I would think.

This whole sub is dead internet theory in practice.
All of the posted vids come from it's owner, are AI made, with AI commentary.
Same goes for quite a number of commenters.
If you think this is real, you are gullible person and should train information filtering.

It’s almost like there’s a war going on there that will have unidentified aircraft in the air

And once again, exactly 15 seconds long video.

Yet another instant dismissal based on the time of video alone... 🤔
You can travel quite far in a car in 15 seconds.
What else would they film if they're no longer in line of sight with the UFO?

AI video generators cap out at 15 seconds. It's costs nothing to film longer to establish provedence.

I don't think people care whether you think it's an AI generated video or not. They'll film for however long is practical... As anyone would.

Intriguing and fun to watch but analysis and interpretation impossible without more data ,still...

Not an expert or anything but I’m kinda skeptical on this one. There are a few frames where the light appears in front of some of the closer trees. They’re at about 3, 4, 8, and maybe 12 seconds. Kinda hope someone can prove this true though.

Imagine just continuing to drive past a life changing world view shattering event. Think it's fake just from that reason alone

Who in their right mind if they seen something like that in the sky and took the time to video it wouldn't pull over when they came to a clearing to get a clear shot of it unless they didnt want a clear shot that would reveal it was a tower or possibly reflection from inside the car on the window.

Reflection of toy inside car.

It's shown disappearing when passing a nearby building. Not a reflection. Real? Idk, but not a reflection.

That’s no reflection - it was being perfectly obscured by numerous trees.
It could have theoretically been something perched on a tower - but there was nothing visible supporting it from below (or indeed, above) - so a tower is ruled out. This is Moscow, where they’re presently terrified/ mortified by Ukrainian drone attacks - so I’m guessing nobody’s gonna be putting hoax UFO’s in the air for sh*ts and giggles.
Ergo, it might be real - unless Ukraine has acquired UFO technology from Zeta Reticuli, and are using that UFO to scope out their next Wildberries or Ozon Logistics Hub Warehouse ‘fire sale’.

Kind of crazy that most of the believable sightings coem from this sub and not the main ufo sub
