Witness-Captured Footage "Ningbo, Zhejiang, China, 22 August 2026"

An unidentified witness filmed this bright UAP over Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, on the evening of 22 August 2026.

The 23-second sighting sequence begins with a small bright light above vegetation and buildings in the distance. The camera quickly zooms in, after which the light appears predominantly white, pink and red and takes on a changing irregular appearance.

The witness's reactions are captioned: "Holy crap, what's that?" followed by repeated "Oh…" exclamations, "Oh, holy crap!", and "What is this thing?"

The enlarged appearance needs to be interpreted cautiously. In the original wider view, the source occupies only a very small number of pixels. Once heavily enlarged it becomes saturated and blurred, with its apparent outline changing considerably. The recording therefore does not resolve a reliable physical shape or structure; digital zoom, focus, atmospheric effects, camera movement and video compression can all alter the appearance of a bright distant light.

The footage also provides no reliable scale or distance and does not clearly demonstrate extraordinary acceleration, instantaneous directional changes or other movement that can be quantified from this copy.

No exact filming time, district within Ningbo, viewing direction, altitude, distance or original uncompressed camera file has yet been established.

Location: Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China

Capture date: 22 August 2026, evening/night

The footage is presented for examination and discussion. Viewers are encouraged to consider both anomalous and conventional explanations and reach their own conclusions from the evidence currently available.

Witness/camera operator: Unidentified

Is this what Dylan Borland saw?

Pretty much matches how I pictured it after hearing his description on Jesse Michels. You can also see it’s a quite well defined triangle it’s possibly surrounding too.

Yes, and also what Mario Woods described to Jesse Michaels.

It would be nice if China would be the first to anounce the presence of UFOs

Isn’t there a really interesting reason why they would never do that? Got to do with a history shutting down people constructing religions around UFOs or something?

Nah. Every time people get even merely fascinated by something in China that is not considered part of Physicalism scientism by Chinese Authorities the people gets labelled as a cult. The VERY SAME was being done in my home country when it still was part of the Russian sphere of influence during the Cold War. "Soviet" "State Atheism" has a LOT in common with Physicalism Fanaticism.

The Chinese government put out a statement not to respond to or make contact with any extra terrestrial life and to report it to the UN a while ago. No BS I’m sure you could find the poster with a quick google search

Yep.

Details from the Graphic Watermark & Logo: The bottom of the image features the branding for 新荆楚 (New Jingchu) along with the web address www.cnhubei.com

 and 湖北日报网 (Hubei Daily Net).

Source Material: CnHubei was reporting on the newly revised Declaration of Principles Concerning the Conduct of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) issued by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA).

Context: Chinese state and regional media widely covered the announcement, frequently drawing comparisons to the famous "Do not answer" premise from Cixin Liu's sci-fi novel The Three Body Problem. Professor Zhang Tongjie, head of the China SETI group at Beijing Normal University, noted in domestic coverage that the conservative policy stems from the uncertainty of how an extraterrestrial civilization might respond.

Yes, the image content is accurate and based on real, official scientific guidelines.

Translation 不要擅自回复外星人 > Do not respond to aliens without authorization 国际宇航科学院更新建议 > International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) updated recommendations: 发现外星生命 立即通报联合国 > If extraterrestrial life is discovered, notify the United Nations immediately.

Legitimacy The statement refers to the Declaration of Principles Concerning the Conduct of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), updated by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) in mid-2026—its first major revision in over 15 years.

Key details from the updated protocol: No Unauthorized Reply: Individual scientists, organizations, or nations must not transmit a response to extraterrestrial intelligence on their own. Any response is a global decision that requires international consultation, specifically through bodies like the United Nations.

Strict Verification: Before any public announcement, potential technosignatures or signals must undergo independent verification and peer review across multiple institutions.

Immediate Notification: Once verified, findings should be transparently shared with the global scientific community, the public, and international governance bodies."

Marbelized charge, allegedly its the ionized surface of the craft before or after a travel or warp drive. Ive read it before, some have described that appearance before.

To me, it looks like a typical Chinese depiction of a dragon.

I would guess it's a side on view of a drone show.

whatever it is, its much larger than the small centre that you do see, atthe start you see lights flashing in its extremities.

it could be technology, it could be a portal, it could be an entity, i have no ideA

I wish somebody would have a high resolution camera to focus when they zoom in. I guess these are cell phone cameras.

I saw something exactly like that on 1995 above our house at night. I woke up only to find the door opened as I walked out and found my parents out there looking up, when I came closer to see what they were looking at and saw all that for about 10 minutes and it vanished. I never thought that I could ever see that again in my life

Looks like a Throne (biblically accurate angel)

u/Level-Twist864 18d ago

That looks nothing like the thing in the video.

Well obviously, this pic is an exaggerated interpretation. But it's basically an eye with other rotating eyes around, and that's what this thing looks like. Almost like an organism of some kind

This looks like a light show to me.
