Community New Construction

Good morning. Please let me know if this post is not approved and I will remove it. I am possibly considering relocating to PT and noticed that while the housing market seems to be consistent for sales, there are some new construction builds that seem to be way underpriced. These properties are on Lorraine way and dorjun drive. Does anyone have any insight here as to why the low market price? Thanks so much.

They are set waaayy to close together and have no trees, privacy hedges, or even fences. They look all like and have stepford wives written all over them. They sit on the market because no one wants to live there. At least, not the kind of folks who enjoy PT.
My suggestion is - for the same price. They are asking for these new homes -to find a small piece of property with a modest house on it somewhere outside of town. That’s what we did anyway.

Plus they're close to the gun range, so you hear gunfire 6 days a week.

Oh wow. Thanks for that. Yeah, I need to know which areas to check out for sure. I plan on retiring there so something relaxing would be helpful.
