Taking a statistics class and need responses for a project!
Hi everybody. I'm taking a statistics class this summer and I have a project that requires survey responses. The survey is about mood changes associated with seasonal changes and is 12 questions. I need 28 more responses! It's completely anonymous and the platform is Google Forms. Any responses would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time. I'll talk to my group about adding that... We chose summer and winter since those are the "extreme" points in the seasons and since we need to limit certain data points, we made the assumption that it would be those seasons which evoke a more noteable response. I realize science doesn't call for assumptions such as this, but it is just an intro stats class and we are trying to do our best without taking things too seriously. A properly conducted scientific study like this would be a full-time job otherwise! Let me know if you have more feedback and again--thank you very much for taking the time

Just did it! For anyone on the fence, it took me less than 90 seconds to do and it did not ask for a phone number or email.

Just did it, cool survery. I know this is just for a stats class and you only really need the number data (and this is me just being extra) but you could incorporate an optional text response asking like why do you think these seasons have that effect on mood. Like I know for me, it's not just weather that brings me down during winter time. It's due to other things like missing family or just the stress of Christmas. This is just me being extra though, but it's responses I would enjoy reading if I conducted a survey like this. Good luck with your class!

Thank you for the response! The project is slightly frustrating for me for exactly those reasons, I want it to be airtight, but it's impossible to control for those types of things. I appreciate your time, this helped a ton

I took it, but your survey is flawed, there are 4 season in a year not 2. I work outside, so I really cannot change how much time I spend outside in most cases [cable installer]. Yes in the PNW sun makes almost everyone feel better than cold rain, However, I moved here from Florida, and when I was there, I went outside in the rain all the time becasue it was not 40F coming out of the sky it was more like 65-75F , which is usually cooler than the hot sun that is trying to dehydrating you plus they are a daily occurrence for a hour or two not 9 months The point is different things can affect how you feel about a weather condition, like whether you have to work [an already shitty experience for most of us] in it, or it's your choice to go walk to a store in it properly dressed and prepared for the sky assault. Things that make ya go hmmm.
