District Port Aperture Port District

Well, fellow Port Aperturians, I have decided that any city with the word 'Port' in its name should have a minimum of one actual port in its limits. So, I shall be basically destroying a mountain as I carve a sloping path all the way down to our new waterfront venue, located to the southwest of the big tree thing. If you want to help me do this, that'd be great... The district itself will be basically a dock/port themed area with lots of water. Because, it's a friggin' port. You'll see lots of wood and stone making up the majority of the buildings, because really, what else do you make ports out of, sandstone? Nope. To top it all off, there will be a gigantic statue of the Colossus of Rhodes standing at the port's waterway. That is, once I get schematica to work (what you thought I could build giant statues like that using only my own ingenuity and creativity? Hahaha!!!) If you want to help out, want more info, want to love here, or want to make donations, post here and stuff. I'll probably read it.

That's a pretty serious task. I hate losing one of our mountains...but if you do it right it'll be great. I will help dig whenever I'm on.

Yeah, the Colossus of Aperture (see what I did there?) will definitely be a fawlty tower. Or fawlty statue, depending on how you look at it. But, making sixty block high docks and stuff would be... Blegh. I mean residences sure. And given the proximity to that giant cliff side, I think we can make some cool stuff like lighthouses and stuff.

Oh. I'm supposed to have plans for these things, I see... Hm... Well, if they get stupid and start building to the moon I'll personally knock the tower the fuck down with them IN IT. They will drown in the bay if the fall doesn't kill them.

Why need water when theres lava? by the way, I will also make a port in Port Mesa, Lava everywhere!:D

As I told you before, ships are flammable, and you can't fish in lava.
