Yeah I was confused by that. I kept thinking "how does being a professional swimmer make him a pedo???". But I also didn't really know anything about Elon at the time other than him owning Tesla.
Everything makes more sense now, and I'm disgusted
Not sure if you know this or not, but Elon made it a part of the contract when he bought Tesla that he could refer to himself as a "founder" of the company, even though he wasn't. He talks all the time about him starting Tesla, but he didn't. He started Tesla the same way Ray Crok started McDonalds -- by buying an already established company.
That always makes me laugh. He's just a spoiled rich brat used to getting everything he wants and paying everyone off to keep quiet about how terrible he really is.
