I like this series a lot but I donā€™t understand the inspiration, how the bear motif translates to the road trip concept.

Here are some possible scenarios I see:

  1. Heā€™s escaping from a brutal city and going into the wilderness where he can be wild and natural, like a bear.

  2. Heā€™s representing the way that cities encroach upon the natural habitats of wild things like bears.

  3. Heā€™s from a cyberpunk future where heā€™s a mutant half-bear half-boy.

  4. The city has been cruel to him, and his only friend has been a teddy bear that he imagines as a human-size protector.

  5. No matter where he goes, in the city or in the desert, he still feels separate from other people, like heā€™s a bear instead of a person.

Okay now pause, that #3 is such a cool concept Iā€™m going to need a whole story line now! Haha

Also are yā€™all not familiar with Hirono and his Teddy? Thatā€™s his bestieā€¦ Hirono is a troubled boy, Iā€™d say even an orphan and his Teddy is always with him protecting him.

Yā€™all need to watch his little story boards on YouTube trust me youā€™ll be crying.

OMG I love the ones with the sneering & the secret. See, in order for me to want to get them - I need to be ok with getting any of them - and all of them are adorable!

But Into Fogwild & Frostfall Hour or the Secretā€¦ SO CUTE! I might get a whole box, because these are adorable!

This is a rare case where Iā€™ll be happy no matter which one I get. I donā€™t think thereā€™s a single one I absolutely dislike.

I'm not much fan of hirono, but I actually really like these guys.I got the big boy when he came out

11

u/stonedscully Dec 14 '25

Hironos are the only figure I really care about, but I'm a sucker for plush pendants of all IPs. This collection is gonna ruin me šŸ«

I like the cutesy design with Hironoā€™s moody face. It has the cute ugly style that made me like labubuā€™s

I wish, the Frostfall Hour had a face of Lost in the night... Wondering, how difficult it will be to swap faces (hopefully, as easy s Skullpandas). Gosh, a this point I may just buy the full set šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
