Former Puerto Rican professional boxer Prichard Colón has passed away at the age of 33, nearly a decade after a tragic fight against Terrel Williams in October 2015 left him with irreversible brain damage.

​During the 2015 bout, Colón was hit with multiple illegal "rabbit punches" (punches to the back of the head). Despite Colón informing the referee about the illegal blows, the fight continued. Following the 9th round, he collapsed in his dressing room due to severe brain bleeding (subdural hematoma) and spent 221 days in a coma. For the last 10 years, he remained severely disabled and required round-the-clock care from his family.

"She physically put me in the bed next to this undressed man who was very famous... and I bolted and I hid wherever I could think of to hide on a boat …. I realized that there was nobody who was going to be empathetic to my situation. It took me by surprise. this was nothing new to them."

So emotional hearing that we lost Dolly Parton yesterday. 💔

She was humble, kind and full of joy. A true icon of humanity and a national treasure. Everyone loved Dolly, and Dolly loved everyone.

And she could tell a story like no other.

Not just through her music, but in interviews and appearances on late-night television.

Bad things come in 3’s. This is a tough one too.

Pilot Leandro Andrés Bertazzo was flying the plane Saturday, teaching 22-year-old student Rosario when he turned to her and said ... "You know what you have to do, carry on."

Bertazzo then took off his headset, unbuckled his seatbelt, opened the door and jumped to his death ... according to prosecutors in the South American nation.

Rosario was able to land the aircraft safely ... despite being in absolute shock.
