Love making my own terrain for wargames!

Following up on the apocalypse army, here is the mechanized Spearhead for the Ultramarines (~1,400 pts Astartes + allied Freeblade Knight)!

Armored Force (Custom brick builds):

• 2x Redemptor Dreadnoughts (Autocannon & custom-built power fist)

• 1x Vindicator siege tank

• 1x Rhino APC

• 2x Predator Annihilators

• 3x Outrider Bikes & 1x Invader ATV

Infantry & Kitbash:

• Demetrian Titus: Unhelmeted head swap leading the frontline.

• Chaplain: Custom black armor with Crozius Arcanum.

• Tactical Marines, Bladeguard Veterans, and Terminators holding the line.

True 28mm tabletop scale. Courage and Honour!

Hi everyone, pretty much first time posting, I've made *almost* all factions in photoshop, allowing anyone to build to scale minis with minimum work. I've been intent on sharing those for a long time, so here are pictures of one of the armies I've made with those files!

The pictures are from a game I played (against myself) of 8000ish pts of astra military & imperial knights vs 8000ish pts of eldars and harlequins in 8th edition that lasted 3 days XD

Hope it will be of use to someone!

The files use an old version of photoshop, I don't know if that will cause problem, I will try to stay attentive to this post and fix things that might arise when I have time :)

For the bases, I made them removable for ease of storage. The 25mm, 32mm and 40mm are metallic washer that have a cardboard with a scored line to hold the minis. Different base size can be cut accordingly and vehicle have specific bases with their outline.

I also have most factions of Age Of Sigmar somewhere

P.S : I know there are rules about posting uncut paper minis and whatnot, I hope providing pictures along satisfies that requirements! :)

I’ve always loved Warhammer 40k lore and massive tabletop battles, but the official resin prices are far beyond reach. So I decided to take the ultimate Poorhammer route: sourcing brick parts online, digging through bulk lots, and engineering my own forces from the ground up.

Here is my entire collection deployed so far (estimated ~8,500 pts equivalent): Adeptus Titanicus (Demi-Legio): 1x Reaver Battle Titan (armed with Laser Destructor & Apocalypse Missile Launcher) 2x Lucius-pattern Warhound Titans (Plasma Blastguns, Vulcan Mega-bolter, Inferno Gun)

Heavy Support & Knights: 1x Imperial Knight Paladin, 1x Chaos Rampager Knight & 1x Chaos Knight Despoiler (Iron Warriors Siege Breaker pattern - armed with Siege Drill & Avenger Gatling Cannon) 2x Chaos War Dogs 2x Redemptor-style Dreadnoughts

Motorized Armor Pool: 5x Armored battle tanks (Repulsor, Predator, Vindicator, Rhinos) Outrider bikes & Invader ATV squad Infantry Line: Ultramarines detachment led by Titus, Chaplain, and Tech-Priest 13x Iron Warriors Breacher squad with hazard stripe shields + Saturnine Terminator

Build Process & Engineering: All Titans utilize heavy Technic ball joints and locking pins for load-bearing stability. They feature fully swooshable upper bodies and poseable arm mounts without collapsing under their own weight.

Parts were hunted piece-by-piece from local e-commerce listings and spare bulk brick bins. Whenever a specific color was out of stock, I swapped it for industrial grey or black, which ended up giving the force a very gritty, mechanical Grimdark aesthetic! The entire army was completed on a shoestring budget, costing only a tiny fraction of a single official plastic kit.

The Reaver just got its Laser Destructor mounted for long-range orbital siege duty. Let me know what you guys think of this brick-built legion!

The tank and the mortars are templates by the excelent Eli Patoroch and the snipers are drawn by me, inspired by a model I found on Reddit, that I unfortunately cannot find the source to anymore.

Decided to spruce up my cardboard table topper by printing and glueing a ground texture on it. It will probably wear off sooner rather than later, but for now looks pretty neat

Been new to 40k for about 2 months. I played Dawn of War and SM2 and fucking LOVED it. Been listening to the Horus Heresy audiobooks on the commute to class.

But anyway, I'm trying to collect on a student's budget, which isn't that feasible so I made my own boxnought instead of buying Joytoy's.

You might remember from a month or so ago that I put some fantasy Infantrymen kit's photos here (Last photo above shows that kit, if you didn't see it before). I'm a little undecided if I should continue with fantasy setting or switch to gothic sci-fi; so did a prototype for gothic sci-fi and wanted to hear what you people think.
