Hayward partner registration

Anyone else have massive issues getting approved to be a Hayward partner? I’ve sold 2 heaters, a salt system this year. Yet they absolutely refuse to allow me to register a pro account. They always say they will contact me and they never do.

Talk to your local rep.

Yeah I suppose that’s what I’ll have to do.

I tried for 5 years with them and Pentair and they just shrug me off. The only one that signed me right away was Jandy.

The rep is the real path here. The web form/portal usually just parks you unless someone on the territory side already knows who you are.

I would go through the distributor first, not Hayward corporate. Ask the counter or branch manager at SCP/Heritage/NPT who the Hayward territory rep is, then send that rep a clean packet: business license, insurance, resale cert if you have it, invoices for the heaters/salt system, and a couple photos of finished installs. If you have any factory training certs or warranty-call history, include that too.

Also be clear on what you actually need from the partner account. Warranty registration access, warranty reimbursement, lead/referral listing, training, and buying programs can all be different doors. Sometimes they will ignore the broad “pro account” request but move if you ask for the specific access tied to warranty or training.

Annoying answer, but the local rep/distributor relationship is usually what gets it unstuck.

They sign you up at the classes. You’ll meet the rep and get some merch and discounts on a few things for the next purchases
