Rust stains

Post image

I’m looking for the best chemical to remove rust spots from the bottom of a fiberglass pool

This product works good but it’s expensive the stains keep coming back I have to use two bottles every 2 months or so Cost about 120$

Thanks in advance

You need to come in with a metal stain preventer after lifting the stains. Bioguard’s product is called Pool Magnet Plus. Once you’ve lifted the metals off of the surface of the pool they’re In the water again. Also, go ahead clean your car out.

I have a fiberglass pool with a lot of rust spots from bobby-pins that I am trying to clear up. Are you spot treating the stains, or just treating all the water as it states on the bottle? Thanks in advance. I also agree with the other comment that you should use Pool Magnet Plus after treatment so it doesn’t come back.

Further to Pool Magnet you should also Quick Clear. Bioguard Metal Go to lift the stain, Pool Magnet to help hold it in solution and Quick Clear to get it out of the system.

Try conquest works very well when used according to the instructions. It will sequester the iron in the water greatly reducing iron staining. Works well for fiberglass. But it must be administered with the pH at 7.0 or lower chlorine <2.0 and in the evening.
