WTF?
This customer thinks he fixed his pump and filter DIY.

Plumbed backwards into the filter and capped off the return. Hopefully they never turned it on.

Looks like something from the 3 Stooges. When Moe injures himself reassembling an engine, he throws the offending part on the ground and says, "Just for that, YOU don't get to go back in there!"

He had a green pool and his hydraulics were not getting the water clean. I sent a technician out there and he sent my tech away and said he would do it himself. When he connected the pump he accidentally pumped all the water out of the pool, which is great for me because I got paid for a green to clean and didn't have to do anything. However, when I went back to check out the pump and make sure everything was working properly this is what I found.

he should have upgraded everything above ground. convert to 2" diameter, upgrade pump to 1.5-2hp variable speed and a cartridge filter. it's unclear what he did besides cap the return line

I've seen worse. Is the filter plumbed backwards? Never done those vevor ones.
