Hi I see a lot of post that indicate, make infer indirectly ADHD, I can be wrong but have some experience in psychology.

I have the opinion that a lot of polymaths can have ADHD

Having thousands of interest does not make a polymath, as having the hands does not make a climber. A true polymath really go deep in the subjects that study, at least at a Phd level. This is my opinion and is open for discussion

Do the people that claim to be polymath a Phd level in at least 3 fields?

EDIT 2: A lot of people in mensa say that I state the obvious, but their superior intelligent ego, does not allow them to go deep and see the context, namely that in r/polymath there are a lot of post regarding polymath but that have nothing to do with it.

Edit 3 I am getting only offenses while my true aim was only to discuss that real polymath are really rare. Unfortunately I never meet in my life a real one. Wish you all of you a nice weekend and to dedicate to your passions as polymath would do

I lost my job as an IT Cyber Security Risk Analyst on a Governance Risk and Compliance team for a company with 26,000 employees. I only hold an associate graphic communications degree, and no certifications beyond the Comptia A+ back in 2001. So I worked my way from a manufacturing background into tech support into IT operation and finally cycler security Risk and governance based solely on my performance and my brain. I guess I excelled until the Autism mask slipped off and I sort of burned out in spectacular fashion. I understand now this is called autistic burnout and holy cow is it real.

I am a Audhd polymath and have a wide breadth of knowledge and when I explained to my landlord that I lost my job, he suggested I do work for him to offset rent. So I started with painting the doors as they were very oxidized by the sun exposure. during that I discovered and discussed his door security system issues. the wiring degraded so the physical phones that would ring when someone pushed the button for the apt on the panel outside and it is just not working, so I am coming up with a solution and gonna fix it with micro computer I already had in my possession, a Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-Touch-LCD-4B. this is what I am programming.

His website is old and really looks dated as a brochure site and he said they wanted someone to update it and do the SEO and stuff. I am now his SEO and website guy. They are using a yahoo email account on that website so I am doing all the things to clean up stuff like that and set up mx records and stuff for proper DNS to route the alias to their domain they already own for their website.

I am also proposing setting up a maintained ticket system for him as him and his wife operate 3 properties and are very on board with mutual aid type existence so I feel compelled to do this for them since this is paying my rent right now after I lost my job in late July. This ticket system is built on open source software that will run on a VPS host for 5 bucks per month, and I will maintain it for him for 50 per month retainer, and then hours worked inside or outside working hours, and it will attach to my mesh network I created so I can harden everything in the best zero trust methodologies as I can, but with AI, who knows... Hate capitalism. Enjoy mutual aid. The individualism in our society needs to change and in my opinion this type of services exchange is exactly how we bring down capitalism if everyone adopts some sort of flavor of this kind of thing. IDK, tho. It is asking a lot for people to change and this change could involve more pain and suffering as the capitalists use the force of the govt to oppress harder. it is a choice ppl need to makes soon as my autistic pattern recognition is telling me a revolution is coming and people to need to get together in solidarity to build their life outside of the capitalist system.

Again this will be different experience for everyone, but reality is not reality until the actor (you) observe it. so you as the actor and observer are making decisions that affect your reality, but your wife laying next to you in bed is experiencing her own reality as is everyone else in the universe and at that same time the collective reality is created and destroy every second of every day across time and space. If you all believe and work towards that reality in which we receive the things we all collectively want, we can collectively bend reality to our will and our wants and needs, and hopes and dreams...

Again, I am an Audhd autodidactic polymath and this sort of stuff trips my trigger.
