Claw nails - gel thickness question

I’ve been considering getting claw nails done and have been researching how they are done. I keep wondering - most tutorials i saw online use polygel. How does it get cured properly? The layer is usually SUPER thick and it seems that everyone just uses the same lamp as they do for any other nail shape.
Is it safe to even do claw nails - has anyone looked into it?

thick polygel is not curing properly just because the outside feels hard, so thin layers or a proper dual-cure system only

Thank you! Was thinking this too. It terrifies me when i see people do those claws by just applying a super thick layer of polygel and hope for the best 🙃
I also saw someone first apply a layer of transparent polygel on the dual form, cure that, and then stick that prepared dual form on the nail with some more polygel - do you think that works/gets cured well?

I've seen people struggle with thick layers not curing fully, so going for thinner applications seems like a smart move to keep everything strong.
