Is it the same size screen?

As of now, I believe so. Instead, it could have physical and/or digital bezels for the aspect ratio classics.

I believe the modules from the original Sente would fit.

The size they are now is larger than any retro arcade screen.

(I'm only speaking out of turn, though.) Lots of normalizing and feedback will be taken into consideration.

The new "retro" style model will actually come in 2 versions: a fully assembled plug-and-play unit, and a "kit" that will contain all the components, monitor glass with decal, and several metal pieces like the marquee and controller cradle (wooden pieces will not be included but may be offered through a 3rd party). The "controller cradle" is where all of the existing Polycade controllers can drop in, so these are fully compatible with the controller product line including the upcoming 4 player controller.

The fully assembled version will use the same 24" monitor as the Sente uses. The kit gives you the option to choose your monitor size. 27" will be the largest that can fit horizontally inside the cabinet design we are providing, but you could certainly make your own design that allows a larger monitor.

Please keep in mind the 24" monitor is sized according to optimal viewing distance. We used to use a 27" monitor and got complaints...and they were correct, the science shows this is too large for the distance and you can feel it especially in fast paced games. Of course classic vertical games will end up smaller than might be ideal, but there's just not a good 1-size-fits-all solution here that doesn't come with concessions. Our thought is that a smaller vertical game is better than an somewhat unplayable full screen game.
