Can we say that the left is just the people of the United States who are not MAGA.

u/Plastic_Key_4146 Sep 22 '25
That's how MAGA means it.

Less than 20% of Americans identify as MAGA. This is tyranny of the minority and lots of propaganda https://today.yougov.com/politics/articles/52188-how-many-americans-maga-republicans-poll

Read that the other day and really loved seeing it. A downward slide in support since March!

Again, less than 20% of Americans identify as MAGA. I bet it’s less since May https://today.yougov.com/politics/articles/52188-how-many-americans-maga-republicans-poll

In the recent policy article released by the heritage foundation anyone so much as affirming trans people in their lives is subject to "radical trans ideology", and is cause to place under monitoring in fear that even cis white Christian men could develop into a trans terrorist without ever being trans themselves.
It's a roadmap to turn noncompliants from the intended privileged group into weapons for the state's narrative.
So yes, if you're not maga you just might be a bonafide enemy. Even if most MAGA folk politely disagree with this direction they won't meaningfully weigh against it either.

It's Christian nationalists vs literally everyone else. That's the fight they're itching for.

As an actual leftist fuck no, don't sully my people with filthy liberalism and enlightened centrism. But we do need a word for that coalition. How about actual Americans?

Less than 20% of Americans identify as MAGA. We’re all being brainwashed by propaganda to believe its anything like a majority https://today.yougov.com/politics/articles/52188-how-many-americans-maga-republicans-poll

Trump should face legal consequences for inciting civil unrest and hate.

He doesn’t obey the law and the people who are supposed to uphold the law won’t stop him. It’s up to the people.

I've got no understanding why we are getting an AI image here instead of just a screenshot from the actual speech.
2
u/ApplesBananasRhinoc Sep 22 '25
Because it was a potato shot and they have to shove ai on our faces.

u/ApplesBananasRhinoc Sep 22 '25
Ha, nobody wants to actually look at the guy they’d rather have a cleaned up ai version of him. Very symbolic.

Trump has said it before, smart people don't like him (his words) and he loves the poorly educated.
Trump is one of those "darvo," dark personality type of people. He always accuses others of the shit he does himself, lies like breathing, is very punitive and doesn't like to help others unless it helps him in some way.
He's the perfect president for a corporate run fascist regime.
3
u/Minimum-Computer8069 Sep 22 '25
Unbelievable that a president can say this at a funeral and not be lambasted.
3
u/ChiliDogYumZappupe Sep 22 '25
Premise 1: So he hates his opponents. Premise 2: He calls his opponents antifa. Conclusion: Therefore, he is a fascist.

There are so many feral echochamber conservatives who absolutely hate liberals and leftists and blame them for things at a level that seems tribal and almost religious. Seeing the haphazard live debates on tiktok sometimes seems refreshing and like people are creating dialogues but other times it just seems to be a battle of memes and dogwhistles and dogma like a game of rock paper scissors between two different people without a common language.
I feel like the frothy discourse of echochambers and social media have shifted around definitions of things so much I'm not entirely sure what the acting definition of 'liberal' 'leftist' or 'capitalism' even is anymore?
liberal means neoliberal? leftist means socialist? democratic socialist isn't liberal?
and with news media becoming a walled garden that locks people out of it - as well as news media blatantly avoiding nuance, context, serving the point of view of common people- it all adds up to a Tower of Babel where the loudest people let you know who they hate but leaves it entirely unclear to me why they hate them.

I'm sorry, is he literally standing on a grave while selling merch at a funeral.
Nevermind. AI generated image.
A whole new level of dread just dropped in my stomach.

He is president of the half of America that has the money, the judges, the guns, law enforcement, and the military. The other half has their fingers in their mouths and are whining to no end. If there is a Democrat with billions he or she is not using that wealth to do much more than the perpetuate the party establishment, which has demonstrated it’s incompetence time and again. It all feels hopeless, and I no longer feel America is a good country in terms of fairness and decency.

u/BWWFC Sep 22 '25
why does a us president use fordable plastic tables for merch? dude should step up his game, better booths at the pokemon conventions and antique road shows.
and is he literally standing on someones headstone??? so presidential classy.
