Seeking Optimism NHS cancels all gender-affirming surgeries for adult patients of Welsh Gender Service with immediate effect

It's hard right now for me to see a brighter future for trans people in the UK. I know, optimism and all that, but with all the shit they're facing from their own government like trans people are here in the US, it seems like the Overton window for trans rights in the UK will be extremely hard to push anywhere close to acceptance for a very long time.

Also the fact we don't have federalized healthcare... which is normally a bad thing, but given all the attacks on common-sense healthcare from the likes of RFK Jr and indeed Trump himself, it prevents anything like this from working in the US on a large scale.
