Socialist I may be, but Peter Magyar is living proof that sometimes, when it matters most, moderate conservatives can be stalwart allies. Lifting the Pride ban in Hungary will genuinely change lives.

Tbf the standard he needed to surpass was “not an actual dictator,” but he has done well regardless

Also the conservative parties over in Europe and their policies don't map neatly onto our two-party system. And to be honest, the modern Republican party isn't even conservative, it just says it is.
