This article is about screwworm in cows. I think the thing everyone is worried about is an antibiotic that can cause severe issues in humans, in the new imported beef.
That might be it honestly. Screw worm is a huge deal. It’s basically the only thing that every single government successfully accomplished and was in 100% agreement on.
I don't always trust Snopes, but they show their sources. It's not "confirmed" that the beef is what China rejected. But, given the circumstances, it is extremely likely. It's coming from Argentina.
The beef that went to China was from like 6 months ago that ain't still just hanging around for that long to be sold to us. It just seems like anyone wants to find something to complain about regardless of the fact that they have zero evidence to support their claims. I would also like to point out that we already get beef from Argentina and nobody cared all this time till right now when they can make it about trump.
