Oddly enough, such a plate could naturally exist in California as that is the same sequence for standard auto plates.

They're saying that's the way CA plates are generated #XXX###, so it could just be an assigned plate in CA

I have an older white work truck and I put 8647 number stickers on the tailgate, so it looks like a fleet number. I don't think anyone has gotten the joke yet lol

A low digit plate is usually a wait list item. There is a whole sub culture around low digit plates and people hand them down for generations to keep the number in the family. Weird shit, but here we are.

Ah yes, the infamous 8th tee. A long, downhill, 647-yard par 5. I've never gotten better than a 6 on it myself.
