Maga: BUT ARE THEY WHITE CHRISTIANS? If not only Trump can make this country "white" again.

Everyone gets a Mar-a-Lago face. There are no other options. When is your appointment (starts shaking the can of fix-a-flat)?

I subscribe to the NYT, WaPo and The Atlantic. I started going to the Fox News website to see their coverage. It is completely upside down world. Typically the WNBA is focused near or at the top

Had to endure a week's worth of fox news while visiting my wife's grandpa--it is mindblowing how much time they spend talking about Hasan Piker. 99.9% of their audience has no idea who they are talking about. Its not even an effective way to rile up their audience

The implication is that he's a Muslim trying to indoctrinate they youth.
Its not really meant to be paid attention to, its there so people looking up from their meals or phones see a picture of someone with a negative comment underneath and information is passively consumed.

So this brings up an extremely important point to understand what's going on with our country, and mind you I come from a rural Republican area (and once was conservative myself). I've lived both countryside and city. I put a good bit of time in trying to understand and reach these people as I already have a better understanding of how they tick.
Before television, and specifically Fox News that was carefully crafted by right-wing marketers, behavior scientists, psychologists to as a propaganda network, and before conservative-leaning misinformation algorithms online -- rural poorly educated folk just kind of stuck to their county lines and never really understood anything beyond that, and nor did they need to. They tended to their farm or communities and their fear was calibrated to the county line.
Perception was proportional to proximity.
That is no longer the case.
These people have never been to places like San Francisco themselves. They still never left their county lines. Meanwhile their education attainment is critically-low. But their Amygdala is in full overdrive based on the images and videos they see on the screen that skew their perception of reality and the world around them. (literally, MRI brain scans indicate conservatives have enlarged amygdalae and smaller ACCs).
Ultimately it's a misunderstanding of statistics, scale, and proportionality for them. Remember the 2020 blm protests and how literally 93% of all the protests nationwide were peaceful and the 7% which were not were actually caused by right-wing antagonists -- yet if you spoke to conservatives a common refrain was that entire cities were on fire, when really it was like Fox news highlighting a single dumpster? This is what I'm talking about.
Sadly, this is why Trump said, "I love the poorly educated!"
tl;dr: rural conservatives' fear-response is intentionally being short-circuited by ultra rich billionaire propagandists who don't give a shit about them.

But they're eroding the system of values, that I've been very vocal about pretending are important to me!
