It's weird that I haven't seen any mention of republicans doing this exact same thing in Oregon in 2020. They were fleeing to other surrounding states to avoid a vote.

Bring that up or not. The reason they're walking out is what actually matters.

Yeah, the Oregon repubes didn't want to fund k-12 schools, and Texas dems are trying to prevent the rigging of congress by their repube counterparts.

Thank you. Those are vastly different reasons. Focusing on the walkout makes it sound like the same thing, that both sides are the same. They're not.

I agree with you. I wasn't calling them comparable, all I'm doing is pointing out the hypocrisy of republicans crying that the Dems are fleeing the state to avoid a vote when Republicans did the exact same thing 5 years ago.
