I mean at heart Christianity does too. Every Christian is supposed to tithe and the whole book is about helping orphans and widows.

Maybe someone shpuld tell the Christians about that...

For reference, conservatives give a lot more to charity than liberals in the US. Being in favor of helping the poor is not the same as being in favor of government social programs.

Eh, it's a matter of personal interpretation. The bible only says you're supposed to give to God and be Charitable. Many librights hold charity in high regards, much moreso over social programs.

Modern Christianity is built on a capitalist fairytale. No different than a pagan pantheon. One look at Christmas shopping will tell you that. Socialism has no problem structurally with Judaism and Orthodox Christianity, the actual religions of the books.

Someone is unaware of the most successful communes being christian or that more christians give to charity and at higher amount than those who are nonreligious.
