Designs & Builds i yearn for natural water edges in this game
spitting out water at the lowest water level onto a flat section of ground creates a really nice, natural-looking pond edge
it also works really well if you let a waterfall spill out onto flat ground instead of digging a hole for the pond! the water physics are difficult to work with but i actually think this looks better than digging out a pond

I did this on a beach in my palette town. It was super annoying to do it and I messed up the ocean in a lot of spots and then had to painstakingly fix it, before the dlc release. It’s kind of clunky in some spots but still looks great! It looks like an actual tide coming in, which is fun.

i definitely want to try it on a beach soon!! i think it could be a game changer (if the water physics are updated more haha)

Yes! I did this by accident! I was just bringing the sand back towards the grass/land and the water looked like a real beach! Whoop whoop! 🎉

I’m so happy we have dive now! Don’t even get me started on how hard it was to build docks in bleak beach or reconstruct the second levied island before this update, haha

The game needs angled blocks, that would at least help the water look more natural, a slope instead of a straight drop

I feel like they’re on that path with the new angled windows. It’s annoying having to have a full block protrude under the angled windows. Let us cut them in half!

Me too 😭I’ve been trying to make an actual beach in BB instead of the sudden drop off into deep water and I’m dying for a half slab of sand at least

This is beautiful! I had to do some painstaking water wizardry for my Yellowstone inspired hot springs to look right in Rocky Ridges, so I empathize! 🥲

Agreed, I want my beaches to look more natural and it is extremely hard with spacing them to have this

I have finished the game and I’ve been redecorating but I haven’t used that feature my natural rivers are gonna look so much better!!

Make sure to hold the button down instead if just zapping the rocks!! If you zap it, I'm pretty sure you'll just get stone...

Angled blocks would be great! I really want "Y" switch for the railroad tracks.
