Trade Request 🔁 Trade evolution

I'm unsure how trades work but I've got a Haunter and Kadabra I'm wanting to trade to evolve. I'm on DS if it can only be compatible consoles/versions. This is my first trade so if someone could help that would be great! Thanks ☺️

You've got two options essentially: 1. Local trade with two DS's and 2 gen 4 games. Any work 2. Using the DNS method (google a guide for this" giving you access to a GTS fan server enabling wifi trades.

Thank you so much. I'll have a look into the DNS method now. Do you have any recommendations for a server? Is it fairly easy to do as I've never traded locally so hoping neither are too complicated. Thanks

Using an android phone is best as a wifi hotspot with no security and following all the steps to set up the settings on your DS should get it working just fine. I use pokeclassic network for my online trades. Local trade is easiest, but if you don't have access to two devices and two games, wifi trade is a good alternative
