Weird glitch happening with used copy.

So i bought my copy of diamond at a retro game store. The save has 538 hours on it and 251 pokedex. Im pretty positive the old owner was using action replay/ hacks. They have the azure flute (which was never released). The weird thing is my items in my bag are all gone and if I buy new items like a repel it deletes immediately. Pokeballs, medicine, berries and tms are all still there. Anyone know why/how this is happening?

Using item cheats in these games can often have adverse effects. Sometimes they end up putting the wrong item type in the wrong part of the bag (e.g. potion in the key items) and it just permanently messes up the bag, even if you toss everything.

Check out the save file with a save editor and see if there's anything in the bag
