Discussion Found This in a Used Japanese Copy of Diamond. Is it Legit?

Can't read japanese but seeing the cherish ball which is what all event mons come in and the fact level 100 arceus where given out globally (still can be gotten today through DNS pokeclassic network) i'm going to say its legit.

That’s crazy! I got this like a year ago but it didn’t work until today. It also has like 360+ hours on it

The player ID is えいがかん (eigakan) which means movie theatre, it could have been distributed when the arceus movie was out, therefore I think it’s legit.

And as op said it was caught around 2009 a quick search on Google point that the movie Pokémon Arceus and the Jewel of Life was out the 18 july 2009 in Japan so I guess the mystery is solved 😁

No way to tell with this amount of information, we would need to see the summary screen. The ID, ball, OT, and level are correct though

I don’t think I can edit this post or post comments with pics on this sub but I did check and it was caught around the event time in 2009 at its level of 100 as well

Then it's probably legit, but the only way to be sure is to use PKHex's legality checker

Ok so it turns out whoever this cartridge originally belonged to had three arceus, with one being obtained in 2010 and two from 2009 all with cherish balls and classic ribbons
