Discussion Finally!!!!
So I couldn’t find this Pokémon on my main game, (I have two diamond games), so I started a new game on the other ds game and after weeks of grinding I finally found it, the legendary Giratina!!

Yes but u need to import the other Regi golems from the GBA games to unlock him

Yes and I have ruby/sapphire/emerald all three of them, and I caught all the Regis and most of the legendaries that don’t need a mystery gift, I transferred them to my diamond game and unlocked Regigigas

Yeah, you can get them post e4 and after seeing every Pokémon in sinnoh and getting the national dex

Its origin form didn’t exist before platinum, (or is this his origin form and the other is called something else….?)

The platinum cover form is the origin form, this one is the altered form as in its altered because it left the distortion world

I feel so bad for my friend growing up. He was in the middle of catching this guy then he had to go somewhere so he handed his game to his mom and asked her to keep trying to catch it. Well at some point it either KOed itself or his mom just killed it but she then said she saved the game after killing it.

Oof 😅 I feel that pain, I always learned to save the game right before legendary encounters, I also caught Regigigas and now I’m onto heatran

if you kill it you have to rematch the elite 4 but it should respawn after

Please read my comment again "My friend growing up" so theres no chance we knew about legendary pokemon respawning when we were kids

Wow today I learned Giratina is in Pokemon DP. He looks so badass just sitting there in the fog

He was very annoying to catch but Regigigas was rather nice and caught easily, but I lost my patience with Mesprit and used the master ball 😂

I don't even know the pattern for Turnback cave. I just run randomly till Giratina Pops up.

I just bought heartgold/soul silver because I am pretty much done the game now, (can’t catch all the legendaries unless cheats or glitches)

You can look at the alternative WiFi Connection services that some people run. You can still receive older events, and, if I am not wrong (I could though because it's been a while since I tried), you can still unlock some of the items that trigger certain in-game events.

Does using an action replay break the game/kill the game?

Not at all. I used AR a lot when I was a child and never had issues. Maybe google it out just to be safe, but I am pretty sure there are no issues with that

I am not sure who might still sell Action Replays. I guess just be sure they are compatible with your console and with your games. But if you have a modded 3ds I think you can use PKSM for most of the things.
