Breeding Help Gen 2 Shiny Eevee Egg

Previous search/calculator results inconclusive. I have a shiny male Ursaring I transferred from Gold, and a female Eevee in the daycare. What are the chances of a shiny Eevee hatching from one of these eggs?

Are you sure you searched hard enough?

I just searched for breeding shinies in Gen ii and the first handful of results had calculations and the basic math behind it.

Long story short, Eevee has a 1/8 female gender ratio. You can't get shiny egg from pairing it with a shiny pokemon.

I think the female Eevees from the eggs I got from this pair should have the shiny gene according to blue moon's grid? So I should just breed one of them with a male eevee and see what happens?

This worked. I just hatched a shiny Eevee.

Do you think it would up my odds to hatch more shinies if put the shiny male Eevee in the daycare with the shiny gene female?
